February, Megadeth continues its Blackmail The Universe tour worldwide with Diamond Head and Dungeon opening.

La estrella estadounidenses de la música pop, Britney Spears, no pudo realizar la gira 'Onyx Hotel' debido a que sufrió una lesión en su rodilla sufrida durante la grabación de un video de 'Outrageous', el pasado 4 de junio, a raíz de la cual debió ser operada. La gira debía llevar a la cantante a través de Estados Unidos, Canadá y Europa. La demanda, presentada la semana pasada, exige que las compañías de seguros cumplan con sus compromisos. La cantante había contratado una serie de seguros antes de comenzar la gira, pagando primas por cerca de 1,3 millones de dólares. Las compañías de seguros (siete británicas y una francesa) rechazaron su demanda de cerca de 9, 8 millones de dólares, arguyendo que la artista les había ocultado una lesión de rodilla anterior. La demanda se presentó después de que las compañías aseguradoras se negaran a pagar compensaciones por beneficios no realizados derivados de la gira cancelada. En la demanda fue presentada la semana pasada ante un tribunal de Manhattan.
